I’m Mariah Tinsley, an acrylic artist exploring the intersection of realism and abstraction through layered values and flowing line work. My work invites viewers to experience each painting from two perspectives — recognizable from a distance and increasingly abstract as they move closer.

Inspired by the natural world and the stories it reflects, each collection explores themes of perception, curiosity, surrender, and human experience. My goal isn’t simply to paint what we see, but to create work that encourages us to slow down, look closer, and discover something new with every viewing.
